I'm Voting For the Greens! Blogs Join Up to Create a Storm

There is a very interesting article in today's China Times about support from the blogosphere for the three Green Party candidates running for the city council in Taipei. More than 100 blogs have joined in and the reporter cites the important role blogs played in generating support for documentaries like Shengming and Wumile.

The beauty of voting for the Greens at the local level is that it might open up more space for effective politicians in communities instead of the representatives of factional local interest groups who dominate local politics. Go Greens!
